Heavy, psychedelic, and atmospherically intense – Motorowl from Thuringia, Germany, craft sonic landscapes that fuse doom, prog, and psychedelic rock into a sound uniquely their own. Since forming in
2014, the band has delivered music that’s as emotionally deep as it is sonically massive.
Blending the weight of classic heavy rock with 70s progressive influences and modern post-metal textures, Motorowl conjure a dense, cinematic sound. Crushing guitars, analog synths, commanding vocals, and driving rhythms merge into songs that are both heavy and melodic, dark yet captivating.
Motorowl are known for hypnotic and intense live performances. On stage and on record, they continuously push the boundaries of heavy rock music. Having toured with bands like Sólstafir, All them Witches, High on Fire and Long Distance Calling they’ve become a vital force in the European doom and prog scenes.
